Halfway Dam

I'm a little behind again...but on July 17th, when we were home to paint my mom's bedroom, we also went to Halfway Dam (a.k.a. Raymond B. Winter State Park) for a picnic, fun in the sand (Caden calls it Mammy's beach), and a little hike.

We were the only clothed ones there, but I just didn't want the fuss of having to take bathing suits and change, etc.

Caden loved these little bridges...something I always like as a kid too.
We saw someone walking with a little boy and holding onto a stick. It looked like it was working well but not for us :)

Some tired kids.
Abby finally fell asleep on the hike.
Jason might be getting tired of pictures at this point :)

looks fun! I'm thinking maybe I'll take the kids there when we are up in Milton visiting in September. Alex loves beaches and hikes! (and picnics too!)

What great pictures. Love Abby's closeup. Excellent pictures of Erin and your mom. Caden looks like he really enjoyed himself on the hike. A lot to see and do.
