Memorial Day

We went to my great-great Aunt Ruth's for Memorial Day. There was a very small parade that walked by the house first, and then we had a picnic. I had my first deviled pickled egg...or is it a pickled deviled egg...either way it was yummy (thanks Aunt Peggy for creating it)!

Ruth with her great-grandson, Bryce.

Of course Bryce and Abby had to hang out again. What a difference a month makes...he was born March 27th, and Abby was April 29th (no surprise that Abby is sleeping).

So cute (we didn't pose them)!

This cutie is my cousin, Lucia. She wasn't too sure about me.

Tim (her dad) and Lucia.

She was OK with the babies as long as her mom or dad wasn't holding them.

Caden was really trying to get the hang of this game.

Abby as the parade passed by...even with the band playing.

I think Caden enjoyed the parade. He talked about the drums later on.

My Uncle Nelson walked the parade with the Boy Scouts.

Terry joined the parade on bike.

Here comes the teeny, tiny band...much larger when I was in it...yes, I was a band geek.

Isn't it amazing what babies can sleep through? Anna slept through the 4th of July fireworks last year! This year though will be a completely different story I am sure! Great pictures!

What great pictures. The ones of Abby and Bryce are precious.
