Easter

We went to my mom's for Easter again this year and had a great time!

The weather wasn't that great, so we had an indoor egg hunt.
Caden found his birthday invite with his picture on it.

Then we found the Easter Baskets the Easter Bunny left behind.

Abigail had a great time playing with the puffs in her basket.

Abby did NOT like sitting on the floor while everyone else was eating. Once I moved her up to my chair she was as happy as could be.

This was after we came home. She's playing with the Thumper she got from the Easter Basket left at GG and Pappy's house.

Caden kinda missed the basket at our house (the Easter Bunny was very busy this year).

Abigail went right after hers...after she was pointed in the right direction.

Tile

This week we had some tile work done in the kitchen and our bathroom. We originally wanted to do the bathroom for structural reasons, but I figured since he was here, why not do a backsplash too? Our "tile guy" as Caden called him was Alex from A&A Tile (498-4411 or 824-1212), and he did a great job! Here are some before, during, and after pictures. Now on to changing the paint color in the bathroom...it doesn't match the tile!

He had to tear out the decorative piece under the windowsill, and it was stuck on pretty good.

Abigail's Party

I'm getting really behind on pictures. I have a lot from Easter, but I wanted to post Abby's Birthday Party first from this past weekend...enjoy!

We were fortunate to have a beautiful day for her party though a little chilly.

She's not really sure about all this...

She got a lot of cute clothes and a few fun toys.

She stuck her hand right in and ate the icing before I realized what was going on.

She enjoyed her first taste of cake and ice cream.
