Fun in a Laundry Basket

I think Abby was a little unsure at first...but then decided she's having fun.

Abigail has been learning lots lately! Along with learning "cheers" with our cups, she also knows what I mean when I say, "Let's go pop" when I want to take her pacifier out of her mouth after her nap. She will pop it out of her mouth and put it on the dresser, just like I always do. She will also drop whatever it is she's playing with, crawl to her door, and crawl right over to Caden's door when I ask her if she wants to get Caden up in the morning. I can't wait to see what she picks up on next!

My Plan Worked!

Caden has been skipping naps lately even though he looks so tired, so I had an idea to keep him in bed. I showed him how to lay down and hold up a book so that he could "read" to himself. He liked the idea...and this was the end result :)
(P.S. This book plus The Gruffalo was a belated birthday present for Caden. He really enjoyed the production of The Gruffalo on TV, so we knew he would enjoy the book too.)

Decorating

Decorating with a 3-year-old means all the decorations are 3 ft. up.
