Last T-ball Game

Caden had his last t-ball game on June 23rd.  It was "under the lights" although it wasn't dark enough to notice until we left.  It was the thought that counted!  They also announced their names which was fun for the kids.  I think we'll sign him up again next year.

 

  

Opening Day of Tee Ball

This past Sunday was Opening Day for tee ball. It was a very long day with opening ceremonies at 1, pictures at 3 and game around 4:15. We had planned on going back home between that time, but I'm glad we didn't since the schedule was a little messed up. So we were gone from 12:30-5. The rain held off which was nice.

Fast forward to the game:

They never actually practiced running the bases, but the whole team did well with that. Except...when Caden was on third, the ball was hit towards him, and he chased after the ball until someone got his attention and he ran home :)

Abigail was perfect throughout the whole thing, even missing her nap. She had a great time playing at the park that's right next to the field.

Caden at Bat

Caden had his first tee ball game today. My friend, Cheri, took this picture. I have many more to post when I'm not so tired. Opening Day of tee ball was one of the most exhausting days of my life in a good way I guess :)

Caden's Uniform

He was so excited to try on this uniform. He said he looked like a real baseball player. Everything is a little big...the socks go up to his thighs...but that's OK!

Tee Ball Practice

Caden had his first tee ball practice on March 28th. His best bud, Jacob, is on his team too. Caden's not really a focused player...so we'll see what this season brings. He picked a dandelion for me at his last practice :)

We went to the wrong field first where Caden and Jacob found a basketball. They had a great time with it!

We then found the right "field". Practices have since been on a regular ball field.

Abigail wanted to give it a try too! She keeps trying to sneak out onto the field with Caden.

She was occupied with this little guy most of the time though. She's on cloud nine whenever there's a baby around, especially little Brayden (Jacob's little brother).

Tee Ball

Yup, that's right, as of 10:30 this morning, I became a proud Tee Ball Mom! We signed Caden up for tee ball with opening day on April 15th. We are so excited. Let the next 14ish+ years of sports begin! Many pictures to come...
