Caden's Bike

Caden got a pretty fun gift this year for his birthday...his first big bike. We're hoping, really hoping that we get a few years out of it!

This is his card that is telling him there's an extra surprise for him out on the deck. We waited until Daddy got home from school before we gave the bike to him. It was funny...we looked at bikes a few weeks before, but didn't leave the store with it. So, Caden would mention a bike a few times, but then I think he forgot about it. Not once did he ask about a bike that whole day. He was perfectly happy with the other little gifts he got (even the clothes).

Hair Clips

My mom got these cute clips for Abby at Christmas. I keep trying to put them in her hair, but they only stay in a few seconds. I'll just have to keep trying! These yellow ones are her favorite. I think it's because of the butterfly.

Picnik

You may have heard of Picnik already (or maybe you're totally new to it like me), but if you haven't it's a really fun photo editing place. Too bad it's closing April 19th. I have a little less than a month to play now...

Fresh Air

We are really enjoying this spring weather we've been having. Good news, Abigail is no longer completely annoyed by grass!

I of course tried to get a nice picture of the two of them. Abby is getting pretty good at saying "cheese" and giving me a nice smile, but of course when I asked Caden for a smile, I got a frown (see top picture).

Abigail has been testing her toys to see if she fits. Funny thing is...she does!She has some crazy hair in this picture!

Abigail's Outfit

So Mom, you were wondering why Abigail was crying and shouting, "No, no, no!" yesterday when you called to wish Caden a Happy Birthday. Well, it's because I was trying to put jeans on her. Apparently she wanted to wear her white pants with black flowers to match her tye dyed shirt and pink socks. What was I thinking??

Yeah/Nah

One of Abigail's newest words is "nah". She also enjoys "yeah" rather than "yes" or "no". It's so cute to see/hear. She will close her eyes and shake her head no very slowly, all while saying, "nah". I wonder how long it'll take for it to not be so cute anymore??

Molars

Abigail is getting at least one of her second year molars in. Luckily the fingers in the mouth seems to be all that she needs :)
