Abigail - We flipped through some baby name books early on in the pregnancy, when Caden was first learning how to talk. I would just randomly read names, and Caden would repeat them. Well, Abby just happened to be one that he could easily say, and for some reason he just kept saying it. If you would ask what the baby's name was, he would simply say, "Abby". I guess we just got used to hearing it and really liked it. Thanks Caden for picking out her name :)
Jean - My middle name, Grace, is my mom's maternal grandmother's name. So, to keep the tradition, we decided on Jean which is my maternal grandmother's name. My grandmother is one of my favorite people in this world, so what better way to honor her? Caden's middle name, Henry, is named after Jason's maternal grandfather...to also honor him who I hear was a great man.

I was having Alex try to say her name (her whole name) and then I was trying others - she was able to say Abby really easily too. I often thought of that name too. I like it!

I love Abby! That's always been one of my favs, too. So, are you loving being a mom of two? Through all the endless days and tiredness, it's always worth it when you see your two year old give kisses to his younger sister. So precious, don't ya think? :)
