I usually line up toys along the edge of his changing table which is right next to his crib each night so he has something to play with in the morning. I recently added books along with the toys, and now that's all that he grabs. The other night I had to pull a book out from underneath him. He must've been reading in the dark. It's so cute when I get him up from a nap or in the morning and he's sitting there reading a book.
(He's sitting on the little divider between parts in his toy box.)

Impressive! Hopefully Anna enjoys books more than toys when she is his age.
