Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Bars

This is one from Pillsbury:

1 pkg. 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 roll (16.5 oz.) Pillsbury refrigerated chocolate chip cookies

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In a small bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and egg until smooth. In ungreased 9 or 8 in. square pan, break up 1/2 cookie dough. With floured fingers, press dough evenly in bottom of pan to form crust. Spread cream cheese mixture over dough. Crumble and sprinkle remaining 1/2 of dough over cheese mixture. Bake 35-40 min. or until golden brown and firm to touch. Cool 30 min. Refrigerate at least 2 hours or until chilled. For bars, cut into 4x4 rows. Store in fridge.
