If my calculations are correct, Abby is the 5th baby to sleep in this bassinet (Caden was the 2nd). This cute little bassinet belongs to my friends, the Smiths, and has been used by 3 different teacher families...soon to be 4. The Smiths used it for their 2 children, and my other friends, the Hesses, used it with their daughter. Soon Baby Bear Beyer will be the 6th in this special little bassinet circle of babies. Thanks so much Smiths for allowing us to be a part of the circle! Oh - I think it also has special powers. The Smiths left the blue ribbon on after their son was born, and I had a boy too. Then they left the pink ribbon on after their daughter was born, and then I had a girl. Kinda weird!

What a great tradition; passing the bassinet from family to family. I love the story about the ribbon and its magical power!! May the special bassinet see many more babies.
I'm glad that she likes it! I glad so many people have been able to use it. Brad wants to write all of the names on the bottom.

Ok, my intention was to post a picture of Annalise sleeping in the bassinet where you could actually see the bassinet. After I left my previous comment, I looked through all of my one month pics and found that I have none where you could actually see it. Sooooo, I posted one anyway where I know that is where she was sleeping even though you can't see it. I just felt the need to explain...LOL
Awesome - can't wait to use it and see the Boettgers!!! I am a little concerned about the magic powers, though . . . maybe you should take the pink ribbon off before you send it our way on Saturday . . . we are pretty set that Baby Bear will be a boy :)
