Caden had his first Toddler Time experience today at our local library. I thought he might be the shy one sitting on my lap the whole time. Well, I thought wrong. He wanted out of my arms as soon as we got there and wanted to explore. He told everyone that there were chairs there and continued to roam. I think he was the youngest there, and there were a LOT of kids there. He went after the girls at first (of course) even telling the girl next to him that she had toes. They had story time and then craft time where he colored a bus with dinosaurs in it. He was more interested in getting "more" crayons and then putting them "away." They also had "special guests" which were a beta fish, a cocroach, and a bearded dragon. Caden marched right up an tried picking up the cocroach (is this a sign he's going to be a bug lover??), but he wasn't too crazy about the dragon. Overall, it was a really fun experience, and we're looking forward to going back.
The school bus full of dinosaurs.

How cute. Always wonderful when you see your child enjoying other kids and fitting in so well.
