Yard Sales and Yard Work

Caden and I went to Grandma's house this weekend because there were some community yard sales going on. We had a great time as usual and of course got some great deals. Caden was so good the whole time. This is just the beginning of "yard sale season" for me. Our yard sales never stop with just the deals though...we always look up the original price of the items on line to see how much we saved. My mom calculated she saved over $100! Here are some of the toys I bought for him (Grandma got the puzzle). Not pictured is a little plastic sliding board, a plastic basketball hoop set (thanks Grandma), and a plastic bowling set (I think that's all). Total spent was around $17. Also not pictured are some clothes, coats, and shoes I bought for him.

Here's a braided rug I bought for $5...fits right inside our front door.
While Caden and I were out having a great time yardsaling, Jason and his dad were here working on our new sidewalk and step. They did a really nice job! Jason says it's still a work in progress.
